On September 16, 2016 the yearly staff excursion brought us to Zurich. We visited the Pavillon of Reflections, a floating platform erected on Lake Zurich - the heart of the Manifesta 11 – the European biennial of contemporary art. The topic of the Manifesta 11 was: what people do for money. After exploring the pavillon, thinking and discussing about what people do for money and, it was time for something completely different!
The next stop was the FIFA World Football Museum. It celebrates the rich heritage of football and shows how the game continues to connect and inspire the world. All lot of information, exhibits, interactive stations were waiting for us and many of us would have extended their stay at the FIFA museum.
But we had to proceed to the Albisgüetli, a famous place at the foot of the Uetliberg, where an impressive apéro riche was completing our excursion. Once more, we spent an interesting and fascinating excursion, that was – as always – very well organized!
