DUST RESISTIVITY MEASUREMENTS
In order to optimally design our electrostatic precipitators for your application, we rely on countless dust resistivity measurements of already completed systems. This offers the unique advantage of being able to advise you on process optimisation with regard to your system in order to achieve the optimum benefit between energy expenditure and separation performance.
In our in-house laboratory, the dust is tested for its specific electrical resistivity, among other things. During the test setup, the respective dust sample is examined at different temperatures and dew points to determine a characteristic. Based on these, conclusions can be drawn about possible process improvements.
When is this service required?
A measurement of the specific electrical dust resistivity is always carried out on newly installed electrostatic precipitators. If you are already operating an electrostatic precipitator that was not designed by ELEX AG and it does not achieve the required emission values, we also offer the possibility of having the dust examined by us.
