The year 2025 is drawing to a close – a year that has confronted us with major challenges. Persistent global conflicts and economic uncertainties have shaped events worldwide. In times like these, progress and reliable partnerships are all the more valuable, as they provide orientation and confidence. Together with you, we would like to take a moment to reflect on what we have achieved.

Achievements that Inspire Confidence

Despite demanding conditions, we were able to successfully advance and complete several key projects:

• Zurich, Hagenholz: Construction of a new electrostatic precipitator as well as a catalytic DeNOx system is progressing rapidly. Both installations are now nearing successful completion and will make a significant contribution to air quality improvement in the region.
• Hamburg: Another electrostatic precipitator has been fully assembled – for the first time using a consistently applied approach with pre-assembled large components. This method significantly reduces installation time and costs and will become an integral part of our project strategy going forward.
• International Service: Our service teams were deployed worldwide – including assignments in the USA and Iraq. Even in countries facing economic restrictions or existing travel advisories, we continue to support our customers reliably and with commitment.
• Successful Emission Reductions: Thanks to our expertise, non-ELEX catalytic DeNOx systems in Switzerland and Belgium were optimized, resulting in a noticeable reduction in nitrogen oxide emissions.

IInternal Progress – Investing in the Future

We have also taken important steps internally to further strengthen our capabilities:

• The transition to the new 3D CAD system has been fully completed and is already improving our day-to-day operations.
• A dedicated test setup for new developments enables us to evaluate innovations more quickly and translate them into practical applications – the first new solutions have already been successfully implemented.
• Our apprenticeship program remains a central pillar of our corporate development. In this way, we actively address the shortage of skilled workers while simultaneously safeguarding our expertise for the future.

Milestones on the Path to Greater Sustainability

In addition, we are working closely with EcoVadis to transparently demonstrate our sustainability performance. We expect to receive our first EcoVadis rating at the beginning of 2026.

Within our joint venture Alnewa, we achieved significant progress in the area of CO₂ reduction. Successful laboratory trials mark an important milestone, and we are now close to the next development steps. Further information will follow shortly.
